Now is the Time

I created a traditional layout for my daughter's album, using another sketch from Pamela's site.

I am very happy with how it turned out, featuring a favorite photo of my mom, baby M, and I at her baby shower. Love generation pics :)

A Card for My Hubby

Happy Sunday!! I made a card for my hubby today to let him know how proud I am of him and his career moves.  I used the color combo challenge at Paper Smooches:

I raided my cardstock scraps, stamped, and fussy cut my banners from the Streamers to make this card:

I stamped various sentiments from Sentiment Sampler, including Alphadot to add his name, alternating between embossing in white and black. I added hearts from Woofers and Tweeters (solid) and Giddy Bugs (striped) to fill in the shorter ones. That's 5 Paper Smooches sets! :) I also popped up the white sentiments to stand out from the white background. 

I added a free hand solid black line to bring it together. I love how it turned out! Hope he does too! Have a great week. Monday is here again :(

You Are Special To Me

I stole a few minutes today to make a fall card {{YEAH my fav season is easing it's way in!!}} with one of the awesome sketches at Pamela's World.

I flipped it so my deer was facing the way I wanted:

Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake

It's been a whirlwind few weeks here between balancing being a new mom, wife, and teacher. The back to school craziness is winding down and we are settling into a routine. This card says it all LOL.

I love these Stampin Up! "Carry On" stamps and went with the chalkboard effect by embossing in white on gray. The pink and gray papers are leftovers of Bo Bunny from my scrap drawer. I'm sharing at Whimsical Twist for their chalkboard challenge!

Also, I wanted to announce the winner of my RAK from the Birthday Flutter Hop! Congratulations Theresa!

I really hope to have some time this evening to work on my Project Life pages. I'm finally up to the week we got THE CALL about baby M. Can't wait to start her story.

I embossed my favorite Stampin' Up "Stipple Butterfly" in white on pink. I added a strip of vellum with my Paper Smooches "Pretty Phrases" sentiment.
