You're My Favorite :)

Hi everyone! I can't believe I had time this week to make a layout ;) Just 1 and a half days of school left!! Wahoo! I don't know who is more excited me or the kids ;) Anyway.. on to the layout! I used a sketch from Boys Rule for this page. I know it's not a boy page, but I just couldn't help but use my new-to-me Echo Park "Country Drive" collection.

I used "stamp school" felt from AWDML with my new MFT "royal rolled rose" flower die to make my flower clusters. I will definitely be making more of these pretties!

I just love these colors together! So happy.

I'm also sharing this layout at My Creative Time's "Happiness" challenge. I don't have an Imagine, but I did use patterned paper ;) Thanks for stopping by!

28 :)

Good evening everyone! Just wanted to share a card I made for a few challenges. It will eventually be a birthday card for a friend ;)

I used "stamp school" felt from AWDML with my new MFT "royal rolled rose" flower die. I like how they turned out, but think I need some practice ;)

I love those soft pinks and yellows together. I'm sharing this card at:

My Craft Spot - what's your age?

Have a great night! :)

May Flowers at Cricut Cardz!

Good morning! We are featuring blooming May flowers this week at Cricut Cardz! I created this card using my "Flower Shoppe" cartridge:

I made this square card using patterned paper scraps and my new Martha Stewart "Loops" punch around the page set. Love the dimension on this flower! :)

April Showers Bring..

That's our next challenge at The Paper Variety!! :)

Our prize for this week is an awesome "kit" put together by TPV, featuring Authentique's "Journey" papers, embellies, and extras.

I made these tags for Mother's Day using my "Flower Shoppe" cricut cartridge. They measure 4 1/2" tall (plus the ribbon ;)

All papers are My Minds Eye. I adore how they turned out! I think I'll be making more tags in the future :)

Hop over the The Paper Variety over the next two weeks to see what the rest of the design team created and link up your own handmade flower projects!

Tis the season for birthdays in our families. I made this feminine card using Basic Grey's "Hello Luscious" 6x6 pad and my Flower Shoppe cricut cart. I was inspired by THIS card on Pinterest.

New challenge up at TPV!

Happy April Fool's Day!!

We have a new challenge for you at The Paper Variety. It's a card challenge with a twist:

Our sponsor is Paper and Such:

And the prize:

Paper and Such was so generous as to send the design team a Paper and Such stamp set of their choice to work with with for this challenge. I picked the "Basket of Flowers" set.

I love how it turned out! I created a "center step" card. You can see a tutorial on Wednesday at The Paper Variety for the directions for creating this fold.  I used Basic Grey's "Hello Luscious" (probably my favorite) 6x6 pad.

I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge! Stop by The Paper Variety to check out what the rest of the design team created and link up yours :)

Bloom and Grow

The first day of spring was GORGEOUS here! After work, my hubby and I took our dog downtown for a nice walk and free Rita's italian ice :) I knew one of the photos would be perfect for this month's Imaginisce photo inspiration challenge:

I incorporated the grid design, green color, flower elements and spring theme in my layout:

I love the bright, spring colors! I added dimension to my kite by cutting triangles of patterned paper and popping them up. I also accented 2 of the bows with ribbon :)

I used patterned papers from the new Hippity Hop line and the "b side" of papers from Happy Harvest and Berrylicious.. what can I say I love Imaginisce and have lots of their collections ;)

I used the kite diecut and one of the title diecuts from Hippity Hop. I love their glossy look! I layered a few rolled paper flowers on top of the flower die cuts, also from that collection. I'm addicted to making these!

The Imaginisce petal roller makes them so quick and easy to make too. They turned almost as pretty as the blooming tree in the photo ;)

I cut some of my journal strips with a ribbon tie edge to bring in the same element from the kite. I also popped up some of them for added interest!

I'm also entering this layout at Lasting Memories ("paw"sitively sweet challenge) and Frosted Designs (grid challenge).

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!
