Hurricane Paloma

My hubby and I got married in the fall and so our honeymoon to Jamaica was at the very end of hurricane season. Sure enough, the morning of our big day Hurricane Paloma hit the coast of our resort. We landed safe and sound and of course I wanted to walk around and take pics! lol. By the next day, they had everything cleaned up and we had wonderful weather rest of the week. Definitely a story worth scrappin' though!

I used last week's Let's Scrap sketch to make a 2 page layout. I was really attracted to the grid design, since these were just scenery pics with not a whole lot of embellishments needed.

I used Bo Bunny's Paradise papers and thickers for the title. The journal box is popped up with the bottoms of the black cricut-cut letters glued to the top to give a 3D effect. The second page features another journal box I will add to later and the year.
