I was thrilled when Kristie, from Party Time Tuesdays, asked me to be a guest designer a couple of times this month. She runs a fun birthday card challenge blog - with a new prompt every Tuesday! It's a great way to stock up on birthday cards.
This week's theme is "anything goes" so I made a fun birthday card for my cousin's little boy Gabe. His 3rd birthday is next month and now I'm all set!
I used my favorite cartridge, Create a Critter. The popped up dinosaur is cut at 3 1/4" and the dinomite (orange layer) is cut at 1 1/4" on real dial size. Instead of using the second layer for the top of the firecracker, I cut the yellow starburst I made on Sure Cuts A Lot at 3/4" and used diamond stickles to make it sparkle and bring out the glitter paper in the strip at the bottom. It's from the DCWV Animal Crackers stack. The "have a __ birthday" stamped letters are from a Studio G alphabet set.
