I {love} nerds.

Wahoo! My favorite time of year is here... a chill in the air, pumpkins on my porch, football on TV, and a little bit of time to myself to scrapbook. And I love the layout I made. It's been a long time since I did a layout "just for me".

I loved the sketch at Artful Delight. It was a great starting point for the challenge elements at Imaginisce (will elaborate more). I used one of my {favorite} lines from them... Geek is Chic! Here is my hubby and I being goofy at the 3D movie theater.

The requirements at Imaginisce was to use..
    • a chevron pattern/design (I snuck in one yellow scrap from my stash)
    • 2 patterned papers (I used the paper clip PP and the border strip PP)
    • 2 embellishments (hearts and diecut)
    • 2 photos (yep!)

This title diecut with the glasses was perfect for the photos. And yes, we're both nerds ;) I embellished my layout with small, punched hearts and one large yarn heart to frame the photos. The black helps anchor all the bright, fun colors and patterns from this line.

Scrapbook Circle's challenge is to use speech bubbles, so I also popped up 2 fussy cut ones from the patterned paper ;) Couldn't resist these..

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy fall! And have a great week.
