New Arrival :)

Happy Saturday!! The sun is out, but brrrrr it's chilly! And it's only going to get colder for us the next few days. Too bad it doesn't include any precipitation - yet :) Lucky for you, I have a layout with a sweet baby to warm you over ;)

I used the color inspiration at Scrap Fit This month --

Those colors took me right to my favorite DCWV stack - Linen. It's full of these colors and textile patterns; so soft and pretty. Perfect for this baby boy of my bestie.

I used my Martha Stewart "Doily Lace" punch to make the pleated heart border. The diecut came from my "New Arrival"cricut cartridge.

I can't believe this lil guy is almost 1 1/2... we had him this past weekend while his parents were away.. good things he is as good as he is cute! :)

Handsome Braydon

Whew! 2 layouts in 1 day? You bet! What a great Sunday afternoon for football and scrapbooking :)

The second layout I made today features my bestie's handsome son, Braydon. I'm making a scrapbook for her and she recently had professional pictures taken! I'm in heaven! :)

I used the latest sketch at My Minds Eye (and the color brown):

The gorgeous My Minds Eye Lost and Found II "Breeze" collection is perfect for little boy photos.

~Sigh~ isn't he precious???  Click the photo to see larger view. I loved working with these papers. I cut A and B side patterned paper strips in varying widths and lengths to create this trendy ribbon border. I curled the edges for added dimension.

The title diecut (fussy cut from one of the patterned papers) is perfect for this little man!

Be sure to stop by My Minds Eye and take a look at the rest of the enteries.. just beautiful!

Thanks for visiting today :)
Have a great night!

He's Proof :)

I made another layout with the wonderful Artful Delight March kit!

This time I used the April Guest DT sketch challenge at Sketchy Thursdays!

I love showcasing special photos on one page layouts :) This is my good friend Michelle's baby boy! I was lucky enough to watch him for a few hours and captured this adorable smile.

As my hubby and I continue to find our path to parenthood, Levi is my reminder that it's going to work out :) The journaling says "He's proof. That everything happens for a reason. That babies are worth the wait."

I used the Little Yellow Bicycle "Twig" papers and number border. I added "months" under the 5! :)

These adorable felties are from Basic Grey's "Marjolaine" collection.

Be sure to stop by Artful Delight to see more of the design team's work. Leanne only has a few kits left so act fast! :)

Have a great weekend!!

Sweet Pea

This layout is for the monthly 24 hour layout challenge at Scrappin' N Chattin'! We have a database where we list 3 collections that we have (this time I picked My Minds Eye Lil Robots, Imaginisce Polar Expressions and Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety).

Our awesome hostess, April, chooses 3 sketches and assigns partners. Your partner chooses which collection they want you to choose and with which sketch. The challenge is April let's you know what you are creating with 24 hours before the challenge ends! We share our layouts and then are entered into a random drawing for a prize. How cool is that?

Fortunately, I like to scrap under pressure :) It makes me not be indecisive and unproductive! My partner, Ashley this time, chose sketch #3 from Julie Bonner and the Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety collection.

I flipped the sketch horizontally to accommodate my pics and used 2 photos - other than I followed it exactly. The cool part is I made this layout using my 6x6 paper pad and the chipboard embellishments! :)

This is me and my precious niece Alexandra :) Thanks for looking!

Baby Kendal

2 layouts in one day! :) I miss having time to scrap, it has been a very busy month so far and its only going to get busier next week. But, I find I am more productive when I have less time to scrap - planning ahead and brainstorming ideas so when I have time to sit down at my desk I can bring it together.

I used this sketch from Sketch Inspiration. I cut 2 circles with my cricut at 10 inches and 9 inches and offset them. I really like ow it turned out.

This is my wonderful co-worker and her new little one. The paper and rattle die cuts were a RAK from my friend Randi. The journal spot is from October Afternoon. I just love their little cards; but so hard for me to use because they are double sided. Which do I choose! :)
