Good Morning, Beautiful

My girl is SO smiley first in the morning. I had the perfect series of pics for this sketch at Stuck Sketches.

I'm in love with navy and pink :) I used a patterned paper from MME Cut and Paste collection for the background. The pics are more pink than red but they didn't turn out that way for some reason.

Isn't she beautiful? My friend Sandi gifted me these script clear stickers and you will be seeing more of them. Under the title, I have the lyrics to the song of the same title. You can give it a listen HERE.

The journaling tells how my hubby used to sing it to me and now I sing it to her.

Have a great week! :)

Hope Rock

When I saw this sketch at Creative Scrappers, I decided to use one of my daughter's newborn photography pics.

This is a special one of her with my "hope rock". A colleague at my school gifted it to me when we I started my infertility treatments. She had a similar journey and kept this close to her heart and eventually got pregnant. Although our journey led us to adoption, I never doubted my hope rock would lead us to the same "destination". This baby girl was so meant for us.

When we had her newborn portraits taken, we could bring a few special props and this was the top of my list. I kept the colors brown and creme to go with the photo and feel of the page. There is hidden journaling with more details on its' significance behind the photo (you can see a little peeking out above).

My friend April gifted me these scripture stamped sentiments a LONG time ago. It is so nice to use my stash on these pages and this fit PERFECTLY.

Stay tuned for one more layout!

Paper Smooches: Autumn Thanks

It's been a few weeks since I had a chance to participate in the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge..but the latest color challenge is one of my favs - Autumn inspired:

I was intrigued by the purple and started there with my square card base. I cut some leaves with my cricut in coordinating colors.

And used my favorite pug stamp :)
Hope you are having a good weekend!

I am! And may even have 2 layouts I did in the last week to share tomorrow.

To The Moon and Back

It was by accident that I stumbled upon the Stoytime line by Studio Calico while browsing for baby girl scrapbooking lines. I feel in love with the "To The Moon and Back" sticker and star patterned paper. Flash forward a few nights, when my hubby happened to grab my camera and snap this pic of me rocking our Baby M to sleep.

I used the fun sketch at The Paper Bakery:

And made this page:

How adorable is she?

I used paper strips from my new Echo Park Bundle of Joy 6x6 pad. Love the subtle patterns and soft colors. Perfect for this page.

The corner stitching was just the touch it needed to balance the page. I am sharing this layout with a few challenges.

Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday!

Sweater Weather !

Well, it certainly does feel like it today. October 6th and it feels like August 6th :( But a few weeks ago, it was a chilly September, Saturday morning and my baby girl and I headed out to do some shopping. Being a summer baby, Baby M was mostly in onsies her whole life lol. I couldn't wait to put pants, socks, and this adorable sweater on her. Love this pic!

Ah! She's getting so big!  That lil sweater was handmade by a former parent of one of my first graders. I wanted to include something crocheted for an embellishment on the page; so I ordered a few things from a talented lady online (because lord knows I can't crochet haha!).

Here's my page using Echo Park's Little Girl collection and the latest sketch at Stuck! Sketches.

I am also sharing this page with Whimsical Twist and Frosted Designs, as their challenges are adding texture to your layout.

Have a wonderful Sunday!!
