If you saw my sneak peek post, you know the challenge this week at Papercraft Star was "circles". As soon as I saw that, I knew I wanted to scrap this picture of my husband (3rd in the photo) and his coworkers at a charity golf tournament! These pants were so out of control LOL. I'm glad he is as passionate about golf as I am about scrapbooking.
I used this month's sketch over at the Paper Poppy Kit Company for my layout. I *love* their kits. So much inspiration on their blog, too!!
Here is the layout I created for the challenge! I went through my scraps and pulled out all of the colors polka in the dotted pants. I cut the circles on my cricut in various sizes (3/4" -2 1/2"). I played with the arrangement for a long time, and finally decided to use them vertically. I stitched a black line through them so it didn't seem like they were floating on the page.
The guys were certainly the "talk of the tournament"!! Dave said that everyone was coming up and asking to get their picture taken with them. I love how colorful and fun this layout turned out. Head on over to Papercraft Star and see how the other design team members used circles on their projects! Hope to see yours there as well!
