Cup of Tea

I made a card tonight for Momo's "girly" challenge. What's more girly than a tea party?! ;) I used Basic Grey's Green at Heart 6x6 papers.

Using my new A Child's Year cartridge again :) The main image is of a little girl having a tea party; the tea cup is the "icon" feature. As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to create a card with it; using a real bag of tea.

I cut the tea cup with the "fit to length" feature key at 4 3/4" to fit on my mat - making the height is 2 1/2".

This is the first time I believe I have embellished the inside of a card - I included this little poem and the scraps of paper leftover.

Hoping this card brings comfort to a friend far away :)
