It's photo inspiration week at The Paper Variety!!
I just *love* this sweet picture. Lots of inspiration to draw from: the reading theme, black/white stripes, black/white with a pop of color, book title, incorporate glasses, puzzle pieces.... the possibilities are endless! ;)
Our generous sponsor this week is Nikki Sivils with her Beatrice collection.
I went with the reading theme of the photo. I made a goal this summer to use my cricut and scrapbooking in my classroom more in the next school year. I decided to make bookmarks for my first grade students. This will accompany their birthday book. The quote says "A book is a gift you can open again and again".
I really like how they turned out (and that I used a lot of my patterned paper scraps!!) and hope my students do too.
Head over to THE PAPER VARIETY to see what the rest of the DT created, link up your paper projects, and get the rest of the details on the challenge (including how to be guest designer just by linking up to our Facebook page!).
