I loved the sketch on the Cosmo Cricket blog last week and new I wanted to use one of the collections I'd been "saving" (okay hoarding.. hehe) for a while.
"Mr. Campy" is definitely an "oldie but a goodie" ;) It was perfect for some of the hiking photos from our San Fransisco anniversary trip.
I used one of the border strips along the bottom and a journaling card for beside the photo. I "fussy cut" the leaves from the patterned paper to make an embellishment cluster, brought together with a few buttons and twine knots.
I used some patterned paper scraps to cut 1.5" circles and make this cute banner for my title. I strung it with twine and tied in a bow on either side.
I really like how it turned out! Thanks for stopping by. Hope you had a great weekend! :)

Terrific layout, Suzy! Love the banner-terrific job with both the CC and the sketch!
Thanks for you sweet comment on my blog! I love your San Fran page. I really like the way you did the banner. I'm going to have to scraplift that one! Mr Campy is a great paper set to use for the beauty of California. Super cute!
Awesome page! Perfect paper for your picture. Love the fussy cut leaves and the buttons on them :)
