Sunday Sketch

I completed 2 layouts for sketch challenges this week. I made it just in time for the 52 Weeks sketch #30
It took me all week to find the right blue for this layout! I am glad I held out until I made it to http://www.hersheyscrapbook.com while driving our sister-in-law to the airport. This metallic blue cardstock is perfect! I also had a metallic glitter glue stashed away and used that for the butterfly trail. I'm going to add a few song lyrics to the gray space for journaling.
Next Sunday, I will have the other ~ as it needs to remain anonymous until the voting is over at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scrappin-n-chattin/. By the way, there is a fun challenge going on this month to make a card after you are finished with your layout to use up your coordinating scraps. So here's the card I made!
I just love that metallic blue. It was $1.05 for one sheet but worth every penny! I might have to pick up a few more sheets next time I am in Hershey. I dusted off my old Stampin' Up stamps for this one. The set is Vivid Greetings. The metallic silver ribbon is leftover from the tag on the layout. I love this idea of scraps into cards - it came together so quick and looks so cute!
