Sunshine card :)

My friend, Sue, recently sent me these goodies to create a card! It took me a few days (okay a week lol) to decide what I wanted to do with them...

I just love the quote I used in my header for my spring/summer blog design. I incorporated it into an easel card. Doesn't the blueish purplish layer remind you of a sunset?

I printed my sentiment on my computer, right onto the solid colored paper and popped it up so the card front could be propped up.

The only thing from my stash was the yellow thread which I used to stitch my rays. I just love how it turned out!

With everything going on in my life, I'm trying really hard to face the sun everyday and think optimistically and positively :) So far, so good!
