Good afternoon! It's a heat wave here on the East Coast and I'm enjoying the AC and scrapbooking :) I created this layout for the Authentique sketch challenge ;)
I used their latest "Glory" line for these patriotic pics of an evening sunset over the battlefields.
I substituted the circle in the sketch for the star (fitting don't ya think?) and embellished it with these quilted heart flowers fussy cut from the patterned paper.
I created the borders with my Martha Stewart embossed zig zag punch and some burlap. Thanks for stopping by today! Stay cool! ;)

Very cool. Love the burlap. Photos are pretty.
What a great layout. I am working on a few crafty goals, then I am adding layouts to my next bunch. I sure hope mine will look as good as yours.

Great layout--love that star. I'm not enjoying this heat and humidity either. Our AC doesn't like temperatures in the 90s!--Pat N.
Awesome layout, Suzanne! (as always) I'm missing the PI DT. :( Such a fun team! I hope that you and Abbey are enjoying your time off (well deserved, by the way). Thanks for sharing your layout at Paper Issues! :)
Beautiful layout. Love the dimension in the flowers and the way you incorporated the burlap. Very cute!
Love the layout -- which battlefield? I too am hiding inside my craft room, out of the heat! I've taken sunset pictures but have never figured out how to scrap them (except the beach ones), so I'm particularly thrilled with your page. And yes, I know, the second sentence is misplaced, but I'm too lazy to move it!
Who DOESN'T love burlap?? Love this page you made. The burlap adds such a wonderful rustic touch and fabulous texture. Thank you for sharing with us at Paper Issues!
